What is the function number in PCI? -


i new pci protocol , know function number of device stored? important me because have inserted ad on customized card in pci slot of windows system. card contains 2 instances of same device. know these 2 devices differentiated on basis of function number, since bus no , device id same unable understand when function number assigned device , stored in device bar?

function number "embedded" in hardware , not stored in device bar(where bar pci configuration space registers read/write attribute). in case card has 2 functions, namely function 0 , 1(maybe). hardwired in device , no 1 can change it. in pci enumeration process identified/enumerated , can access via (bus,dev,func) numbers

rewrite - Trouble with Wordpress multiple custom querystrings -
