osx - Why does QtCreator not show the 'Applications' section on Mac? -


the lists of templates differ. example when load tutorial "creating qt widget based application", shows following screenshot.

qtcreator should this

"applications" visible section of templates available on left.

i've downloaded qt creator 2.8.1 mac (53 mb) http://qt-project.org/downloads , when run see:

what qtcreator looks when run it

what's going on? can't simple project started.
