xcode - Is there a way to send some arguments through the instruments command-line where UI Automation script could access them? -


i'm trying send arguments ui automation scripts through command-line scripts grab arguments , execute specific test cases conditionally based on received arguments. there way this? saw in manual page instruments command mentioned arguments.

argument ~ command line argument sent launched process (you may specify more one)

... or should split conditional code different files , have external shell scripts handle changing of file name executed through instruments command-line instead?

alas, not @ time. command line arguments sent application (which launched process), automation script has no access command line arguments or environment variables matter. please file bug report apple this. more hear it, higher on priority list go.

your suggestion have shell script execute different automation scripts , works well.

rewrite - Trouble with Wordpress multiple custom querystrings -
