google analytics - When to use Event-tracking and when to use Page-view tracking on AJAX-calls -
well, question is, should use when?
for example use ajax calls form submissions - both user creations, advertisements creations, editing advertisements , on.
is there golden rule when use event-tracking , when add page-view manually? :)
is there disadvantages in 1 of them regarding e.g. goal tracking , on? :)

the important thing can't have funnels event based goals, if want track @ point people drop out of multi-step process need virtual pageviews.
other there "best practices" open interpretation - use virtual pageviews when update significant parts of content, idea of significant might different mine. need uses tracking implementation on board - need aware parts of site tracked in way, if try compare site - , should have extensive, regularly updated documentation.
there more 1 way it, it's important way documemted , reproducible.
