css - Ideal viewport size for mobile phone websites -
i'm wondering should ideal viewport
size design mobile websites.
designing site 320px
width speed lot site in terms of images loading (as size smaller), and, if adjusting viewport 320px
makes full width, then, why should design websites in higher width
?
- what disadvantage of designing mobile website in 320px width?
- which ideal
viewport
size mobile website?
the web inherently flexible. embrace medium, don't impose false limitation because seems easier @ first.
what define 'mobile'? change in 6 or 12 months?
there more devices iphone. flexible sites work* on every device including iphone.
there many eloquent , well-informed opinions on subject:

there's no harm in ruling images created site of specified size, although scaling , resampling them fit allotted container relatively heavy work. online within browser - medium designed compromise - it's balance.
