python - Programming to grab data from Bloomberg terminal -


i'm pretty blue in searching bloomberg data through programming. wondering if there anyway use programming language, python, huge amount of data bloomberg terminal? want grab thousands of bond information regarding rate changing dates during periods?

what want is... use api. (screenscraping not option..., , why you, when there pretty api.)

bloomberg makes easy in excel, , sounds might sufficient needs (i.e. localised specific problem). need install bloomberg api plugin. if contact bloomberg representative or helpdesk, can this.

if convinced need 'programmatically', there number of version of bloomberg api written in different languages. find out more, go wapi on terminal.

however, should aware there limits how data can through api. bloomberg pretty hush-hush on this, there some information.

rewrite - Trouble with Wordpress multiple custom querystrings -
