Retrieving only the ETag for a range of bytes in an object -


does google storage rest api support generation , retrieval of etag values arbitrary range of bytes object? e.g., uploaded object of 100mb , got etag full object. great. @ later date, i'm interested in etag result on range, say, 10-20mb of object. objective query etag result if there object made of bytes reside in specified range without retrieving bytes in question. possible?

as long identical entity etag should identical range requests. i.e. etag not depended on requested range.
